The Housebound Story

Housebound Interiors was founded by Colton Slater as a reflection of a lifelong fascination with objects that carry history, artistry, and a sense of place. Rooted in a deep appreciation for history and craftsmanship, the Studio curates 19th- and 20th-century antiques, art, and sculptural pieces sourced from across Europe and North America.

The collection spans antiques, busts and sculpture, paintings, works on paper, and curated objects, often complemented by custom pieces created exclusively for the Housebound Interiors Studio.

Travel remains a central part of the process, with regular sourcing trips informing each new collection and shaping the evolving narrative of our signature style.

The physical Studio serves as both a retail destination and a meeting place, an environment designed to encourage discovery, conversation, and the tactile experience of viewing objects in person.

Alongside the Studio, Housebound Interiors offers interior design services for residential and commercial spaces, blending antiques with contemporary living in a layered, considered approach.

"Design should feel collected, not assembled."
