A sculptural interpretation of the fig tree—long revered as a symbol of abundance and quiet luxury—this exceptional tole composition captures the organic rhythm of fruiting branches in full expression. Slender, hand-shaped stems rise and arc with a naturalistic grace, punctuated by ripened figs rendered in softly mottled tones of blush, rose, and green.

Each leaf is individually cut and painted, layered to evoke the distinct silhouette and movement of the fig tree’s foliage. The composition feels at once studied and spontaneous—an artful balance between botanical accuracy and sculptural restraint.

Set within a custom terracotta vessel, finished with a softly weathered patina and grounded with natural pea gravel, the piece carries the presence of an aged garden specimen—translated into a permanent, collectible object.
