Christofle Ice Bucket - France

An exceptionally elegant vintage silver-plated ice bucket by the celebrated French silversmith Christofle, distinguished by its beautifully restrained cylindrical silhouette and sophisticated architectural detailing.

The piece features a generously proportioned cylindrical body, complemented by a substantial, gently domed removable lid. A finely ribbed spherical finial crowns the lid, introducing a subtle decorative element that lends the otherwise minimalist design a distinctly refined character.

A series of delicate horizontal bands encircles the body, providing a beautifully considered contrast to the smooth, reflective silver-plated surface. The interplay of polished metal, clean geometric lines and understated ornamentation recalls the timeless sophistication of French Art Deco and modernist silverware.

The removable lid reveals a generously sized interior, making the piece both functional and decorative. Beautifully suited to a thoughtfully appointed home bar, the ice bucket is equally striking displayed among antique crystal, silver cocktail accessories and other collected objects.

The elegance of the design lies in its simplicity, allowing the sculptural proportions, precise detailing and luminous silver finish to take precedence.

A sophisticated example of French luxury barware, embodying Christofle’s celebrated tradition of craftsmanship and enduring approach to design.
