A beautifully restrained Italian ceramic tulipière, finished in a luminous white glaze and designed with a striking tiered architectural form.
The vase is composed of three graduated cylindrical levels, with individual flower openings encircling each tier and a larger central opening at the top. Raised on petite rounded feet, the silhouette has a wonderfully sculptural quality that feels at once traditional and distinctly modern.
Inspired by historic tulipières originally designed to display prized individual blooms, this Italian interpretation pares the form back to its essential geometry. The monochromatic white glaze emphasizes the clean lines and gives the piece an almost architectural presence.
Beautiful filled with tulips, ranunculus or loose garden stems, the numerous openings allow flowers to be arranged individually to create a dramatic, abundant display. Equally compelling without flowers, it functions as a sculptural ceramic object in its own right.
